The new station, named "The Kin Factory" was constructed around the seventh planet in the solar system. The station received its "go ahead" and the green light on the 11.2.22 at 11.08 hours to open its docking doors.

The official naming ceremony was held 2 days ago were members of the alliance was invited to celebrated the ceremony, a special fleet of capital and sub-capital fleet stayed undocked and was equipped with firework charges to commemorate the occasion.

The newly constructed station was a long time project that was under the supervision and major contractors of Ubuntu Inc. The corporation used several sub-contractors and other members of  Fourth District industrial capabilities to make the time schedule. Ubuntu has the largest time invested in the project and is the major contributors to the build.

"We are very proud of what we have achieved together, its not a easy task to created something that hopefully will last for a long time and bring safety to the region. The name "The Kin Factory" will be a dedication to all of those in Ubuntu that made this happen, and its also a recognition of our corp where we are all kin."  Ubuntu´s CEO Gothmog.

The station will be under the supervision and control of Ubuntu for the time being, to ensure that the station runs smoothly, it will then be handed over to the Allied Council after that over to the Allied Investment and Holdings LLC corporation, that runs all the assets of Fourth District. After that it will fall under the jurisdiction of the Fourth District, as with all stations under the Districts control.

A capital fleet of chimera and Archon carriers together with a Phoenix dreadnought can be seen together with a small sub-capital fleet of 4TH District. Firework charges illuminated the stations hull as the celebration continued.

Update: From the interview to its publication by the Fourth District News Service. The Former CEO of Ubuntu Jessica Danikov has resigned and a new CEO was appoinited to take her place, Gothmog VanMorgoth.

We now turn our eyes on the largest of the corporation of the Fourth District Ubuntu Inc. District news Service had the plessure of speaking to CEO Jessica Danikov and let her have the say of the corporation she took over just days after they joined the District in the Providence region.

District News: "God afternoon"

Jessica: "God afternoon you to"

District News: "So, we will get started with this small interviwe were we will have the opertunity to get to know you, and your corporation a bit better"

Jessica: "Sounds great" 

District News: "So to start, can you tell us alittle how Ubuntu Inc. came to be?"

Jessica: "Sure my plessure. Ubuntu Inc. which is colloquially know by it's members as just 'Ubuntu' was formed in YC 113 from the ashes of Valor Inc. founded YC 110 but since revitalised by new management, in the hope of creating a less elitist combat-orientated organisation."

District News: "Mhm I see, so basicly a different organisation where capsuleer could do more than just combat and where you could have more options for you and your members." 

Jessica: "Yes, pretty much"

District News: "Please continue"

Jessica: "So we recognising the steady influx of new capsuleers with minimal combat experience and training, Ubuntu's goal was to attract these capsuleers and provide basic training laid upon a tribal-esque framework to promote loyalty and unity. As all members are tasked with recruitment and the education of their peers, Ubuntu is capable of rapid growth and has achieved large number of pilots with sufficient minimal training to pose a serious military threat. Ultimately, Ubuntu believes in both quality and quantity, in the sense that equal amounts of both can achieve a multiplicative effect that is hard to ignore."

District News: "I see, so you are recruiting young and newly licensed pilots and train them in the direction that required. Well you have aquired a large number of pilots and what we have seen they do both industrial projects of there own of for Ubuntu Inc. and join combat patrols. And I dont think any one will dissagree that every combar fleet needs pilots with all sorts of experince.Can you explain a bit more of this tribal-esque attitude?"

 Jessica: "Sure, basicly its our way to function as a coproration in the sense that all capsuleers are reborned when they become a capsuleer. We want that to be as a credo for the corporation so we promote a more open style of corporate function and every member is reborned into Ubuntu"

District News: "I see, please, continue" 

Jessica: "Yes. Rather uniquely, Ubuntu had no investment backing nor taxation system and is runned entirely by private funding and generous donations from it's members, a practice that continues to this day. Their tribal ceremony is often a little unnerving to onlookers and new recruits, while a number of concerns have been expressed over the rather cult-like practices Ubuntu practices- a CONCORD investigation revealed no illegal usages of implants or drugs within Ubuntu's ranks and that no undue coercion had occurred."

District News: "mhm, thank you very good. Please continue"

Jessica: "Ubuntu joined The Fourth District near the end of YC 114 after an internal rebellion saw a departure of a number of senior officers and eventually led to the resignation and replacement of Ubuntu's CEO. Null security space provided the opportunity to enrich Ubuntu's bottom-up economy and the possibility of more serious military engagements. For political reasons, Providence was an ideal choice due to it's friendliness towards non-affiliated entities while Ubuntu and The Fourth District were a natural match- Ubuntu providing much-needed numbers, while CAIN and other member corporations brough veteran military experience to the table to share with Ubuntu's more junior military. Ubuntu is constitutionally multi-racial and has no strong affiliations beyond being broadly anti-piracy and respecting Empire law, however as a member of The Fourth District, Ubuntu has been happy to support the Alliance's interests in Caldari politics and the military action that frequently does result."

Ubuntu CEO tells her story...

Jessica Danikov, Executor of Ubuntu, the newest corporation to take up residency within the District tells her story that led her up to the position as Chief Executor Officer and the history of Ubuntu before the corporation was joined with other of the Districts corporation.

A fledgling pilot is recruited into an EVE corporation, but not all is as it seems. Her ambition drives her to advance through the ranks, but cracks appear in the organization's foundations. As power beckons, will she answer the call and unify the 'Tribe', or will her conscience become the better of her?

Jessica Danikov is a new capsuleer, It doesn't take long for her to run across Evil Nanny, an agent of Ubuntu Inc. offering 'free' Kestrels to all rookie capsuleers in the system. Initially, Jessica is wary and warns her fellow capsuleers of griefers and a potential scam, but is traded a ship and invited to join a community of fledgling pilots in a channel known as UBU.

Naive and idealistic, Jessica is enthralled by the corp's proclaimed values, in particular their generosity and proclaimed altruism that seems to fly in the face of a cynical universe. She is convinced by their Chief, commits to corp, and is tasked with completing a series of rites known as 'scholarships' in which she must learn basic capsuleer survival skills and demonstrate her fealty to the corp. Jessica finds a mentor, Teighty, and becomes his protégé.

Her training culminates in the Ceremony, a tribal rite where she publicly commits herself to the corp, Her peers accept her as Kin with cries of 'Ubuntu!' before purging her ship in fire and flame. In her capsule, Jessica is reborn a member of the Tribe.

The rabbit hole deepens. Jessica discovers deeper ranks within the corp, whispers of the Nomad, the Sage and the Visionary. Scholarships stretch before her, a labyrinth of knowledge and training. Jessica discovers that she, too, may sponsor others and increase her rank and stature within the group, but the greatest honor is bestowed to those that recruit others into the fold.

She is also introduced to the Pact- a complex Oath that binds her ever tighter to the Chief's design- and Commitment- a 'voluntary' tax by which the corp is funded. The Chief leads the corp in a violent campaign of control throughout the system of Ziona and begins a vicious vendetta with Oblivion Chaos. Jessica learns to fight in the wars that follow.

Jessica is called upon to serve under Canyon Vjourytant as a Tribal Monitor, tasked with keeping the members in line and rooting out subversive elements. She enjoys the increased privilege and stature within the corp, but tensions rise amongst the leaders above her and relationships grow cold between her and the Visionary Biddybam. Her mentor, Teighty, withdraws from corporation life leaving Jessica, while the Chief is nowhere to be seen.

Things take a turn for the worse when the Visionaries, led by the insidious Jace Vorrin, abandon the corp and form the heretical Project Aces, taking good souls with them. Jessica bears the weight of the Tribe on her shoulders, knowing full well that her presence could be the lynch-pin preventing a full collapse of those who remained loyal to the corp. However, nature abhors the power vacuum the schism has left in its wake.

She seizes her opportunity and, garnering the support of those that remained and with his reputation in tatters because of recent events, issues a vote of no-confidence in the Chief. The path finally clear, she quickly moves to take control of the Tribe. For a brief moment, she contemplates how far she had come and how the strange ways of Ubuntu no longer held their mysticism for her, reduced to tools of control and indoctrination- all for the good of the Tribe.

The corp is battered and bruised, but still standing. New recruits stand ready as Jessica issues a new Tribal mandate: the corp sets its sights on a far off land known as Providence, and a new chapter of their journey begins...
